NLO: Franceex United walloped a hapless AS Racine 5-0

 



In a remarkable display, Nigeria Nationwide League One team Franceex United achieved a commanding 5-0 victory against AS Racine during the Week 15 match held yesterday at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena in Lagos. 

This impressive win positions Franceex United at the top of the league table with 9 points from three victories. Gabriel Kennedy scored two goals, while Njoku Chigozie, Nathaniel Paul, and Isa Kareem each contributed one goal, leading the Ajegunle club to a dominant performance against AS Racine. 

Chigozie opened the scoring in the 68th minute of the second half, followed by Paul who extended the lead in the 73rd minute, and Kareem who added a third goal in the 77th minute. 

Franceex United continued to assert their dominance, with Kennedy netting two more goals in the 83rd and 88th minutes.

Head Coach Abdulkadiri Abiodun Abdulwasiu expressed his contentment with the crucial victory, stating, 'The points we secured here represent a pivotal moment for us and will serve as motivation as we approach future matches in the league.'
